Meet Sherry

Sherry has been creating in one form or another for six decades. She trained as a graphic artist in the 1970s. The 1980s recognized Sherry as an accomplished ambidextrous calligrapher. Her work hung in exhibitions. Shop signage and certificates/invitations kept her working as a “bread and butter” artist. She used her training as a designer and fine artist incorporating calligraphic forms, surprising many who saw a piece reflected in a mirror.

Sherry pioneered techniques for teaching left-handed students and taught classes throughout the early 2000s. Sherry is also an accomplished actor, singer-songwriter, playwright, actor, producer, and director who has graced PNW stages since the 70s. Her laughter is recognized by almost all who have ever worked with her.
